sir,a man who is a govt.employee & his salary is less than 500000 .is he mandatory to fill income tax return for assessement year 2013-14

Yes, it is mandatory to file income tax returns for the salaried employees who has gross salary of Rs.500000 or below for A.Y 2013-14.

Yes it is mandatory to fie as per recent notification by CBDT.
