16 April 2012 You can not file Income Tax return for A.Y. 10-11, there no provision in Income Tax act.

If you have received notice from Department accordingly you can file.

21 April 2012 The last due date to file belated return for the a.y.2010-11 is expired on 31/03/12. If there is any tax payable by you then you can submit the IT return. Also you will have to pay a penalty of Rs.5,000/- under sec.271F of Income Tax Act, 1962 in addition to taxes and interest payable by you.
If you receive any notice from Income Tax department then you can submit the return by mentioning the reference of Sec under which notice has been given to you.
