Fillig up excel sheet with zeros

This query is : Resolved

01 May 2009 I have a big excel worksheet where I have filled up numbers in some cells. In the cells which dont have numberes or forumulas I want to have "0"(zero). What is the short cut for this? Can this be done in one go?

Thanks.

01 May 2009 hi Anil,

write 0 in one cell. copy it (ctrl+C). Now select the area where you want 0 in blank cells (be sure the selection only has numbers & no text). Now paste special (Alt+E+S) select 'Add' & press enter.

Pls feel free to ask again if you have any problem doing this.

01 May 2009 Thanks you very much. It is working.
