Dear All,
I have one query regarding Excise returns. We have registered under excise recently. We have not cross the limit of 1.5 crore. We are not claiming cenvat credit. We have to file returns even if we do not take cenvat credit. We have not even applied for SSI exemption.
We have to file monthly return or quarterly return.
Please advise.

apply for SSI benefit notification no 8/2003 w.e.f the date of regn, and file ER-3 quarterly
if you dont apply then return would be monthly in ER1 and duty would be leviable, as exemption is not claimed,
