Filing of return of Income

07 June 2010 Mrs. Rashi Suresh Shah , is an assessee under the Income Tax Act filing continuos returns. After few year she take the divorce from his husband and get married with Mr. Naresh Bansal. After getting married instead of changing the name on PAN Card she claims for fresh issue of PAN no. to department and files the return in both names. Can it be Valid? If not, then what will be the consequenses?

07 June 2010 in PAN no husband is needto be mentioned They have asked only father name Hence Husband name is nothing to do with PAN card and the Number. If Pan card contains ex-husband name file the re-marriage certificate of Govt Gazettee and get a new PAN card with Same no. But getting a correction card is very time consuming
