26 July 2010 If a person has worked in two companies in a Financial year, is it mandatory to file the Form 16 from both the companies? What is the consequences of filing only one form 16?

26 July 2010 The present ITR forms are annexure less and no attachments are allowed along with ITR to be filed. Hence Form 16 cannot be filed along with the ITR. (Not even 1)

The assessee has to retain Form 16 issued by the employer(s) for his record purpose only.

26 July 2010 AGRRED, YOU HAVE NOT TO REQUIRE ATTACHED ANY DOUCMENTS LIKE FORM 16, TAX SAVING IN ITR.
BUT YOU HAVE TO PROVIDE DETIAL OF BOTH FORM 16 IN ITR RETURN.
