22 March 2010 I want to file IT Return for the Assessment Year 2007-08.
I want to know whether I can file the same electronically or should I file manually?

What is procedure for filing the IT Return for the Assessment Year 2007-08?

Please guide me.

22 March 2010 The return for the A.Y 2007-08 is time barred now and cannot be filed voluntarily. The return for A.Y 2007-08 could have been filed only upto 31-03-2009.

The only case now when you can file ITR for A.Y. 2007-08 is if u receive notice u/s 142(1) of Income Tax Act 1961

you can file e return or manually both options are available to you, but you liable to pay penalty of Rs. 5000/- u/s 271
