Is the filing of Audit report before 30th september is compulsory for this year, if the return of income is filed after the due date.
Is previous year circular 5/2007 dated 26-07-2007 is applicable for this assessment year 2008-09 or not?

Yes it is compulsory to have your company's accounts audited before 30th september and file the return.
