Filing itr from other cities

Please someone tell me whether a person having PAN registered in a city can file his return from another city / state? what are relevant provisions for that?

No-----Just Put Their Place of resident in PAN Data.
I Mean U R Add as Per PAN is Jaipur.
Now You are in Pune.
Then Put Address as Jaipur Only.
I Mean U R Add as Per PAN is Jaipur.

You have to put the actual jurisdictional code as per your PAN.
Doesn't matters from where you are e filing the return.
