File return for person expired

In case an individual expired in Feb'14 how to file his return for the year. Who should sign on his behalf while submitting the return? Matter urgent - please respond.

His Legal Heir can file as a 'Representative Assessee'.

Until he does not have any Income in his own hands, he has to file Return of Income.
The joint depositor can submit. However, you will have to update the PAN in the KYC of the Bank as the the other joint holders PAN. Then you can.

Hi thnx for response. However, in case joint depositor submits his PAN no.- income will be recognized in name of joint depositor as first depositor expired. And this will make her income taxable - which will not make her eligible for 15H.
Any better solution for this - please advise

Hmmm. Sorry to say, it she will not be eligible for filing Form 15H, as per the info provided by you..
