if we file belated return after due date it is possible of fine 5000 under income tax act 1961 and it will be file manually or e file?

suppose For assessment year 2012-13

due date is 30/07/2012

last date of filling 31/03/2013.

if u file retyrn of income after 31/03/2013 then penalty will be leviable.

no matter it is manual or e file.
