what is procedure for taking permission for accepting foreign contribution by a trust

The same is covered under FCRA.
The permission can be prior- if trust is in existence for less than 3 years or otherwise permanent.

You have to apply online to Central Government for getting donation or grant in foreign currency by trust in form of any currency under FCRA and form has to be filled acordingly
