05 May 2008 If telephone bill includes internet charges,then the internet charges should be included in the value of Fringe benifits or such internet charges should be excluded from the bill amount,i.e., amt given in the telephone bill?

05 May 2008 Internet charges should be excluded from the telephone bill as FBT is not applicable for Internet charges.

05 May 2008 Expenditure incurred by the employer on leased telephone lines (say for internet connection) is not a fringe benefit under this clause and hence not chargeable to Fringe Benefit Tax;
