This message means the auto-drafted input tax credit (ITC) summary (based on GSTR-2B) has not yet been generated by the GST portal for your selected tax period. This prevents auto-population in Table 3.1(d) (RCM) and Table 4 (ITC).
🔧 Steps to Resolve:
1. Wait and Retry Later
Sometimes, GSTR-2B takes time to sync or generate, especially during month-end peak hours.
Wait for a few hours (or 1 day) and check again.
Go to: Returns > GSTR-3B > Prepare Online again after refreshing.
2. Check if GSTR-2B is Available
Go to Returns > GSTR-2B.
Make sure your GSTR-2B has been generated for that tax period (e.g., January 2025).
If GSTR-2B is missing, the system cannot auto-fill 3.1(d) and 4.
3. Clear Cache / Try Another Browser
Try logging out, clearing cache, or using a different browser.
Recommended: Use Chrome or Firefox in Incognito Mode.
4. Use Offline Method (if urgent)
If still stuck and you need to file urgently:
Use GSTR-3B offline utility from GST Portal Downloads
Prepare and upload return manually.
5. Raise a Ticket with GST Helpdesk
If the issue persists:
Raise a grievance at: https://selfservice.gstsystem.in/
Mention error, tax period, and attach screenshots.

This issue typically resolves within 24–48 hours as the system generates pending 2B data.
There’s no penalty or late fee if you're within the due date.
