..How to show this amount in my books. ?..

Hi ,
First of all you need to pass the entries in your capital account.
1. Bank Ac Dr.
To Gift from Mother Account.
2. Gift from Mother Account Dr..
To Capital Account.
Then FD made is accounted as usual.
3. FDR Account Dr.
To Bank Account.
FD should be under Investment Head.
