Just come to know that the procedure of export to Nepal become as normal export as to other countries wef 1st march 2012.
Ques. What is the procedure to be follow now & How would be now the movement of shipments?
Please clearify step wise.

I recently faced a problem in export o Nepal which I would like to bring to the notice for benefit of members of this community.
We exported some material to Nepal on CIF basis. Accordingly we made our ARE-1 on CIF price of goods. However the Nepalese custom has pre-concieved notion that ARE-1 should have been made at FOB & they are loading 7% again on the price to calculate the custom duty.
