26 April 2012 My client is starting to exportEngineering goods to Gulf countries. Can he avoid VAT and Central Excise?
What other benefits he can avail?

27 April 2012 in india, vat is exemption in case of export.

if your items code is occurs in List Notified by CBEC, and DGFT u can avail DRAWBACK AND CHAPTER-3 INCENTIVE AND excise incentive too as well as Pre-shipment case too avail .
