15 April 2010 company is exporting EOT crane to saudi arabia. i would like to know weather we can claim exemption or concession on payment of input excise duty.

21 April 2010 The CENVAT credit Rules are very clear.
As the export is being made without payment of duty, the accumalated balance may be used in domestic clearance.

Or under Rule 18, the input rebate may be availed.
