EXPENSES TRANSFERRED TO WIP

13 January 2010 one company is not doing any business.It has invested in the Fixed Deposits.Company has received interest on FD and claimed expenses against that interest income.In the block assessment, Officer has disallowed the administrative expenses and treated the interest on FD as income from other sources.Whether revised return can be filed for transferring that administrative expenses to Work in Progress account.

13 January 2010 Revised return should filed only if we did any mistake or omitted to add or remove an item and it is purely depend on our own wish, In your case assessing officer disallowed an expenditure,,so for that you no need to file revised return
