DEAR SIR,
WE ARE DOING SERVICE OF MOTOR, PUMP SET & ALTERNATOR, NOW WE WOULD LIKE TO ENTER IN MANUFACTURING OF MOTOR, SO WE WOULD LIKE TO KNOW ABOUT THE MAX. EXEMPTION LIMIT FOR MANUFACTURING. AND IS BOTH TURNOVER WILL BE MERGED FOR EXEMPTION LIMIT OR NOT.

Basic exemption limit for excise (1.5cr) and service tax (10 lacs) are independent of each other. They cannot be merged.
