To claim exemption in any of your ca final paper where you are getting 60+ is there any need to secure minimum 30 or 40% marks in rest of subjects of the group.

Appearing in all paper(s) in that group or groups is the only condition, for awarding exemption, where the candidate has secure 60 or above marks in any one or more paper. To put it in simple terms, if score 60 or more marks in any paper(s) but absent yourself from writing any other paper(s), then you will not entitled for exemption benefit.
