03 September 2025 Allowances to the extent exempt u/s. 10 are declared in Tab. 3 of Schedule Salary. While some of then not added to salary income are reported in schedule EI.

03 September 2025 I received exempt medical reimbursement in my salary ( exempt as surgery was done was in approved hospital and disease was one of the specified diseases under section 17 ). Should I show it in allowances under section 10 in tab 3 of schedule salary or should I show it I schedule EI ?

03 September 2025 Show it in Schedule Salary if it is reflecting in form 16 as tax free perquisite. Otherwise in Schedule EI.
