SIR PLEASE TELL ME THE CONDITION OF TO FILL VAT RETURN MONTHLY OR QUERTELY EXCISE RETURN .IF A COMPANY IS MANUFECTURE. WILL SIR THE COMPANY LIBLE TO FILL MONTHLY RETURN(ER1)OR QUERTLY (ER2)EXCISE RETURN.IN ANOTHER SITUATION IF A COMPANY IS TRADING WILL SIR THEY ARE ALSO TO FILL MONTHLY RETURN(ER1)OR QUERTLY(ER2) EXCISE RETURN. PLEASE SIR CLEAR MY DOUBT.

Dear Rajeev,
ER-1 is monthly return for manufacturer and needs to be filled by monufacturer monthly.
ER-2 is quarterly return for manufacturer within certain conditions.
for traders it is not applicable.
