Greetings of the day....
One of my client wants to start the business of Import Export of Food Grains, Ready made Clothes and Towels etc.
Is it mandatory for him to get himself registered with Central Excise Department even if he does not want to issue CENVAT Claimable Invoices. Or is there any monetary Limit which makes it mandatory for getting registered with Central Excise Department.

No need to registered with central excise if 100% export.
