08 November 2011 PLEASE LET ME KNOW IN THE MATTER ABOUT PROCEDURE
1 CAN WE GET REG WHEN FACTORY IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION.
2 FOR IMPORTING LOOMS UNDER EPCG LICENSE EXCISE REG IS REQUIRED.
3 FOR WEAVERS CAN WE GET EXCISE REG. IN A SAME PREMISES FOR MORE THAN ONE UNIT.
4 WHAT IS THE TIME LIMIT FOR GETTING EXCISE REG FOR ON LINE APPLICATION.
5 IF WE ARE REFUSED OR GETTING LATE FOR REG WHAT IS THE NEXT STEP.

08 November 2011 1. yes, registration would be granted in under construction stage also, provided the assessee has reason to get the regn in advance, and have valid trade licence and other registrations relating to business establishment at the specific place.

2.

3. each unit ( with diff pan no ) should be clearly divided by walls and seperate gates.

4. 30 days from the date of receipt of documents by the department.

5. comply the grounds of refusal to Deputy commissioner of excise, he may depute a visit by some officer to your place to verify the facts and would issue the Regn by very next day of such inspection.

I THINK FOR TEXTILE BUSINESS IT IS CONCESSION TO RUN MORE THAN ONE UNIT IN A SAME SHADE & EARLIER WE HAVE GOT REG CERTIFICATES
