will sale of scrap of Materiel which is used to manufacturing an excise exempted product , will attract the excise duty
will sale of scrap of Material which is used to sale after branding & labeling of a manufacturing unit, attract the excise duty

If final products are exempt from excise duty then no need to pay excise duty on scrap sale. Excise duty can be arise if goods sale after branding and labeling of a manufacturing and attract the excise duty. Excise duty will be applicable if final products are dutiable.
