One of my client have one marble industry noe he wants ot letout 1/3 of te such land.

Tell me is any excise liability is create on such transaction?

27 February 2009 from your query it is not clear whether the unit is SSI or otherwise

if unit is SSI then the let out amount will be clubed in the turnover for claculating the 1.5 cr limit

if it is allready in excise then no tax liablity on such transaction

but you have to intimate to Excise Departmant About such
