The term excise gate pass is not in usage now. Now it is called CEntral Excise Invoice. An excise Unit has to prepare an excise invoice to clear the excisable commodities from the factory gate. The excise invoice consists of the product, packing, quantity, MRP/Dealer rate, abatement if any, rate of duty, duty amount, time of clearance, lorry particulars, range address, division address, excise rc, vat rc, vat/cst if it sale, pre authenticated signature etc.,
