Excise duty on manufaturing of readymade garment for export

Can any one clarify following:
1. What would 'brand' mean for levy of excise duty on readymade garments.
2. If I export all my goods, do I ned to pay excise duty.
3. If not, am I required to it myself registered and what are the procedures which I need to follow??

Pls note the answer to your query:
1. Brand means a known name under which ready made garments are sold in market i.e. brand is known by its name in market
2. No duty on export but need to follow a process - Export under Bond
3. If you are manufacturer of branded ready made garments then take registration as Manufacturer and export under Bond without payment of excise duty.
