I am doing an audit of Manufacturing Company which registered under Excise Act.
Can you tell me how to know the supplier type(First stage dealer/Second Stage dealer/Manufacturer)by observing the ECC No.

look at the invoice,
at the bottom of dealer invoice, the declaration is there, stating the dealer stage.
manufacturer invoice is diff and its sold direct by manufacturer.
