Should we mention the name of the purchaser & bill details in dealers invoice??
As per my knowledge the same was required under modvat & not under cenvat?
There was a clarification issued by the department on the same?
Please clarify the same at the earliest.

cenvat is the new name of modvat only,
with introduction of VAT in states, modvat was renamed as cenvat ( central vat)
dealer invoice has to contain the details of manufacturer ( in case of 2nd stage dealer, details of 1st stage dealer also)
