(Querist)
17 August 2014 we supplied a some material to customer but the rate charge for it is less. Our consultant told us that issue the supplymentiry excise invoice and charge remaining amount in that. my question is that whether we can issue debit note in this situation instead of supplymentory invoice and can show excise duty on it. Please clear my doubt.

18 August 2014 Yes, you can issue the debit note. less than of purchase of goods you can not sale the goods.

if your sale is excisable then your have to issue the invoice with old bill reference and charge excise duty on diff amount invoice.
