dear sir
A manufacturing of corrugation boxes firm with a sale of rupees 1 crore 40 lac and doing job work of rupees 10 lac.(the paper roll provided by the sender and they covert it to corrugation rim and then send back to the sender and sender make the boxes from it )
is that firm is liable for excise ?
and both firm are in different states but the proprietor of the both firms are husband and wife .both firm sales (1.4+1.4)
Is excise department club the sales of both firms on the behalf of relation ?

Excise duty will be application on manufacturing of corrugated boxes, SSI exemption is available to all unit upto 1.5cr. Jobwork is exempt from excise duty. If you have any doubt kindly contact at.
