Please let me know how do i inactive formula bar in excel i.e people does not see the formula written in the excel cell while want to see the formula of a numeric value

u have to first protect the sheet (with or without password), then use 'format cells' (Ctrl+1) > Protection Tab and checkmark "Locked" and "Hidden",,
To Protect sheet, under "review" Tab, click 'protect sheet'

Dear you select cell open format pop up - protection- click on hiden
Then goes to tools - protection - click on Select loked cell& unloked cell press ok
