I am going to attempt 1st time In ca finals may 2018.. I am not confused about how to study tax. In indirect tax, GST will be of 75 marks.. kindly help me with both tax papers about how to prepare..

FOR DT & IDT you may refer the book of Banger but you have to wait for the book applicable for may 2018 exam

Alternatively you may purchase the book of banger of DT applicable for Nov 17, and later in Jan 18 you should refer amendment applicable on DT for May 18 because in DT there willl be not enough amendment.
And for IDT you have to wait for May 18 edition book or you may take tuition or purchase pen drive classes
