11 March 2021 Sold BPCL shares at ex-dividend price on 18.2.2021, ex-dividend date being 19.2.2021. Record Date fixed by company 19.2.2021.

Under the premises am I entitled for dividend? I believe, yes but fact is that I have not received dividend.

Request for clarification.

11 March 2021 Contact the broker they will clarify it. On 18th itself the shares would have been transferred so you are not receiving dividend.
Dividend might have been received by the broker contact him.

Dear Share holder,

With reference to the trailing mail we wish to inform you that the record date for payment of interim dividend for the year 2020-21 interim is 19.02.2021 EOD. If the shares were sold before this day or purchased after this day, the shares do not qualify for dividend.
