ETDS validation

26 May 2008 Dear sir/madam

I am facing a problem in validating the 24Q IV quarter ETDS . The error file which is getting generated is
1.T-FV-2097 Invalid number of Challan Record and
2.T-FV-2129 Invalid number of Salary Detail Record

Please if any one know, as such how to rectify it help me.

26 May 2008 check the challan sr. no. in challan and salary sheet. remember there are two type of sr. no.:

1) no. given by bank
2) sr. no. at which u have entered that challan on challan sheet

generally, people commit mistake in providing sr. no., usually in salary sheet, software ask for sr. no. as per 2) above. check if this is the problem.
