We were issued ESIC number when we got our company registered.
But its not applicable to us.
How can we cancel it or surrender it?

14 January 2024 There is no option to cancel PF and ESIC registration Online. You need to visit the nearest PF office where you obtained registration. PF and the ESIC registration can be cancelled but only it can be surrendered for its permanent closure. Apart from that, you also need to keep ready all your PF and ESIC data as for sure the concerned Inspectors will do inspection before closing it and after getting satisfaction that there is no outstanding or discrepancies the concerned branch officer will order for its closure.

18 September 2024 Even in case of NIL employees the establishments registered via MCA have to submit NIL return with a miimum admin charges under EPF,

the establishment may submit to regional ESIC in writing to temporary suspend the registration with reason of ZERO employees,

similar way they can visit the AO of EPF and gt suitable solution to resume the fililng when employment activity come in existance
