Dear All,
I have a question on ESIC applicability.
If an employee is registered for ESI & his Gross Salary is Rs 14000 till March.
In April, his salary is increased to Rs 17000(Gross). Is he eligible to continue his ESIC contribution?

ESI applicability on Gross Salary basis. So Now Your employee will not cover ESI.

From April onwards ESIC is not applicable for the said employee.
ESIC is computed on the basis of Gross salary which usually excules OT paid in cash.
