22 July 2009 While making Computation in which section we will show the deduction of ESI from the salary

22 July 2009 ESI deduction from the salary cannot be claimed as deduction under any section of the Act in the hands of the employees.

However, in case of employers the same is claimed as deduction U/s 43B on the payment basis.
