24 June 2024 I am also getting the same error while uploading the refund json viz "The return period in uploaded JSON file does not match the return period for which Refund application is created".

07 July 2024 The error "The return period in uploaded JSON file does not match the return period for which Refund application is created" occurs when there is a mismatch between the JSON file and the refund application on the GST portal. To resolve this issue, verify the refund application details, check the JSON file details, correct the return period, upload the corrected file, monitor processing, and seek help from the GST helpdesk.
