WHILE UPLOADING ITR3 FOR AY:2020-21 IN INCOME TAX WEBSITE, AN ERROR IS SHOWING STATING "INVALID HARSH VALUE IDENTIFIED.MODIFICATION TO ITR DETAILS OUTSIDE UTILITY IS NOT ALLOWED".
WHAT IT MEANS?

06 November 2021 Are you uploading it under sec. 139(9) of IT act?
i.e. it is reply against any defective notice?
Or else it cannot be filed under sec. 139(4) or (5) of IT act.

07 November 2021 In new income tax website, the option" RESPONSE TO RETURN U/S139 (9) under efile menu is not seen

07 November 2021 It is available only if you have received any defective notice.
If not opened in your case, you can file complaint under Grievances in these regard.
Also ask for extension of time period to reply the notice.
