Do we need to file ER1 form for those who are under compounding levy in ACES?

Yes. Rule 12 of Central Excise Rules, 2002 is also applicable to the goods manufactured and cleared under Compounded Levy Scheme.

this is case refrance of an asesse under compound levy scheme who did not file ER-1 RETURN,PLENTY IMPOSED Rs.5000. so it is advice you please file ER-1 Monthly Return even you are compound levy scheme.
