06 September 2011 We are the manufacturer of 'A' finish goods where as the same is also used in 'B' which is another finish goods. So, now my question is if there any scrap & melting loss arising then how we can show the same in ER-6 returns.

15 September 2011 ER-6 is monthly return of inputs used in manufacturing dutiable final products in a particular month.Scrap used during the month to manufacture finished goods 'A' & finished goods 'B' is to be shown alongwith total qty of finished goods 'A' & 'B'manufactured in the month.Melting loss/burning loss is not required to be shown in ER-6, which is normal process loss
