SIRS,
A FRIEND OF ME RESIGNED FROM A COMPANY IN 2015. HE HAD NOT JOINED WITH ANY OTHER EMPLOYER. DOING SMALL BUSINESS. HE COULD NOT OPEN EPF ONLINE PORTAL AS HIS AADHHAR WAS NOT SEEDED. IN THE COMPOSITE CLAIM FORM_NON-AADHAAR THE SIGNATURE OF EMPLOYER IS ASKED FOR. NOW HE WANTS TO CLOSE THE EPF ACCOUNT. WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE TO CLOSE THE EPF ACCOUNT WITHOUT PRIOR RMPLOYERS' ATTESTATION? CAN HE UPDATE AADHAAR DETAILS DIRECTLY WIGTH EPFO?

In case of Composite Claim form (Non-Aadhaar), you need to fill it out and submit it to the jurisdictional EPFO office along with the attestation of your employer ONLY
