If an employee basic sallary is exceed than 15000/- then EPF is applicable on their Maximum Basic Sallary or only on 15000/-?

02 January 2015 Minimum amount on which PF is to be deducted is Rs. 15000. Beyond this it is discretionary between employer and employee.

13 January 2015 Sir my question is if EPF deducted the employee previous now their Basic sallary exceeds 15000 by same employee. the 12% EPF should be deducted on which amount actual basic salary or 15000 only?
