13 August 2016 We lost the original EP copies of shipping bills related to FY 2014-15. Then how I will get the another copy from the department. Please guide me the procedure for reconstruction of EP copy shipping bills as early as possible.

13 August 2016 There is no Hand Book of Procedures for the year 2014-15. Hence, the provisions of the current Hand Book are applicable. The procedure to obtain duplicate EP copy of shipping bills ( for Chapter -4 or Chapter -5) is as follows:

(i) A duplicate /certified copy of EP copy of relevant Shipping Bill may be obtained from Customs Authority or Bank in lieu of original.
(ii) Self-declaration by exporter about loss of document and an undertaking to surrender it immediately to concerned RA, if found subsequently.
(iii) Self-declaration by exporter to effect that he would indemnify Government for financial loss if any on account of loss against the Shipping Bills.
