30 September 2016 A Free Foreign Exchange currency is one which can be converted into other currencies.

According to Foreign Exchange Dealers' Association of India ( FEDAI), Mumbai currently there are 25 currencies which are treated as FFE. The exchange rate of FFE is decided by market forces and not by central / federal bank.
