Epcg-exports eligibility criteria for calculation of avg eo

19 December 2016 Our manufacturing company having one FTWZ unit. We are exporting goods from FTWZ unit, these Exports are eligible for calculation of Average Export Obligation of main plant? where I found provisions relating to FTWZ exports eligibility criteria in FTP?
Consider following points:
1. FTWZ unit engaged in purely trading activity only.
2. There is no transaction between manufacturing unit and FTWZ unit
3. All imports for the trading activity are extracted from outside suppliers.

21 December 2016 You are Free Trade Warehousing Zone is a special category of Special Economic Zone and is Governed by the provisions of SEZ Act 2005 and the Rules 2006. A unit in Domestic Tariff Area is eligible for EPCG Authorization. The exports from FTWZ need not be indicated towards calculation of average Export Obligation of past three preceding years

21 December 2016 sir incase of specific export obligation, exports used for redemption are not counted while calculation of average export obligation?

21 December 2016 one of our consultant told FTWZ exports are counted for calculation of Average Export Obligation Of main plant. Please clarify me once again his intention is wrong?

21 December 2016 The Exports of Units in FTWZ will not be counted towards fulfilmlent of Export Obligation of a DTA Unit.
