We have Import a Machinery in EPCG Lic. We are in exempted area as such not having central excise no. Now How can we get Intallation certifcate from Central Excise for further submission to CUstom Department. Or is there any alternate arrangment ?

Chartered Engineer (CE) confirming installation of such capital goods in the declared premises.
it is Also mentioned in HAND BOOK OF PROCEDURES VOL-1(2009-2014) Para No. 5.31"that
"in case of units not registered with CENTRAL EXCISE AUTHORITIES THE AUTHORIZATION HOLDER SHALL PRODUCE TO THE CONCERNED REGIONAL LICENSING AUTHORITY A CERTIFICATE FROM Chartered Engineer confirming the said installation of capital Goods/ spares.
